Out Past Cow Corner

... that's where we are. Left the city behind, crossed the Great Divide, cruised through autumn coloured country towns, beside ploughed fields and high hay stacks... and yes, a huge paddock with all the cows packed into one corner.

Finally before us was the far horizon on the Hay Plains. We pulled up along a perfect little creek lined with river gums, the air full of sunshine and birdsong and silence. The sunset was awesome and so is the brilliant starlit sky.

What a wonderful start to our holiday.

PS: When I can figure out how to create a link to the album of todays photos I will put it here.
