So happy not to be in the car today ... birdsong and sunrise over water, a cool breeze and sunshine and the prospect of a lazy day… bliss.
Out came my bird lens for my camera and I enjoyed capturing a few images today. Only one turned out well, the others ok … but the fun. is in the trying. Highlight of our day was watching two emus wade into the water and drink their fill before wandering off into another beautiful sunset.

Have you ever seen emus try to run on wet cement?
No but imagine this wet sticky mud might be similar.
